  3. DATABASE:  MEDLINE¿ Demonstration Database.
  4. PUBLISHED: December, 1987.
  5. CONTENT:   This database is used to demonstrate the capabilities of
  6. MEDLINE Knowledge Finder.  It contains representative citations to 
  7. biomedical journal articles drawn from over 1,200 journals.  The database 
  8. contains  approximately 24,000 citations, about 75% of which reflect 
  9. English language articles.  These citations were all created in January, 
  10. 1986, by the National Library of Medicine.  The database also includes
  11. the MeSH¿ Medical Subject Heading thesaurus.  You can use this thesaurus 
  12. to identify correct terminology, and to assist you in searching.
